The debut album - sleeping with fractals by Ontofield is due for release very soon. It is currently with the CD manufacturing plant and will be available to buy on this website in a couple of weeks. Thank you all for your patience and support, we can't wait for everyone to hear it. Digital downloads will follow the CD release. We hope to get a choice between MP3 and higher resolution downloads, although we are still negotiating that with the various distributors. More news on that...to follow. We will also announce all this on our Social Media sites such as Twitter and Facebook, but you'll always hear everything here first.....

Ontofield's new, debut album will feature on The Ancient One Show, one of the top prog shows in the UK, on Monday 1st July. The Ancient One, Jim Lawson, will be playing a couple of tracks from the new album, sleeping with fractals. We're very grateful to Jim for his support and the fantastic show. Catch it here or on 102.7 + 106.2 FM on Mondays 10pm to 12 am.
The debut album by Ontofield is due to be released in early 2013. The album will be released by Adient Records and will feature the single "Moon Handed". A number of the songs will be previewed here on this site during the run up to the release. The album will be available to download from iTunes, Amazon and the other usual places. The Album will be download only and will hopefully have the option of different audio quality versions, going up to 32 bit and 48kHz, as well as CD quality and MP3.
The album will feature songs that some people will have heard of previously. These songs - Sleeping With Fractals, My Machine and Underlying Symptoms are already complete, whilst the remaining songs are being moved from demo to release version and mastering over the next few months. JANUARY 2013 NEW SINGLE "MOON HANDED"
The new Single by Ontofield was released on January 1st 2013. Called "Moon Handed" it will be the first release for Ontofield. You can listen to a preview here on this site and is available for download from iTunes, Amazon and all good Music Stores. This single is based on an old song written and recorded nearly 20 years ago on an old cassette four track tape recorder. Since then though, it has been chopped up, rearranged and had bits added and taken away.

After faffing around for a suitable amount of time with design elements, the Official Ontofield Website officially exists and is now real. The website is best viewed with the latest versions of the usual browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Internet Explorer 9, as it features HTML5 Audio and Video standards. We hope to grow this website with the band and have it compliment the online presence of the Facebook, Twitter and MySpace Ontofield pages and ensure that it represents Ontofield as it really is, which could, and does mean, literally anything. Just like everything else.
